30 Students in Nigo-Prampram District Supported by OVC

At the launch of the Tender Loving Care for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) on Thursday 11th August 2022, thirty (30) students within the district were supported with schooling needs.
The launch was brought to fruition by the Project Management Committee comprising of representatives from various departments in the Assembly led by the Social Welfare Department.
The project is to assist vulnerable children who have needs and empower them for future development to be productive.

The District Chief Executive for Ningo-Prampram, Hon. AL-Latiff Tetteh Amanor expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the project management committee for a such gesture to bring relief to the less privileged in society and pledge his support to the organization.
Hon. Al-Latiff Tetteh Amanor shared his testimony on how he was cared for by somebody though his parents were alive. “Life would have been a mess for me. Thank God the person took care of me and ensured that I have the best of life.” It is a good initiative that the district will embrace for posterity. He charged the students to study hard to be better people in society
The executive director for International Christian Cooperative Ministries (ICCM), Bishop David Kwadwo Ofosuhene highlighted the mission and vision of ICCM.
The ICCM mission is to work with local and international partners to minister to the spiritual and physical needs of the disadvantaged persons in society such as orphans and vulnerable children, the aged, prison inmates, returning citizens, and persons with disability including those with mental disorders.
ICCM seeks to become a leading Christian mission-driven organization working with local and international partners to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the disadvantaged persons in society.
In attendance were representatives from the various departments, Traditional Council, and Christian and Muslim communities.
