The awareness and implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Action plan (NACAP) took place at the Prampram Senior High School on Thursday 25th August 2022 for the 3rd quarter on the theme; “Your Right, Your Role: Say no to Corruption.”
The focal person for NACAP for the Ningo-Prampram District Assembly, Mr. Godwin Dzivor defined the rationale for the programme to students of the Prampram Senior High school and said, the programme seeks to highlight the rights and responsibilities of everyone- including States, government officials, civil servants, law enforcement officers, media representatives, the private sector, civil society, academia, the public and the youth in tackling corruption.
In his presentation, he focused on empowering the youth with the 3Rs of corruption: that is, to Resist, Reject, and Report Corruption.
Why does corruption matter?
Corruption steals from the common purse, leaving little resources for the

Corruption according to Transparency International, “is the abuse of entrusted power for private gain.”
