Partial Handing Over Ceremony Of The Ningo Prampram New Assembly Complex

A short ceremony was held to hand over the Official Building of the Assembly to the District Chief Executive and management of the Assembly.

Akuffo and Associates, the Consultant after months of supervising the carefully put together project handed over the building to the DCE.

Madam Ernestina Tsotsoo Adjei said it was a partial handing over, she elaborated that the facility consists of offices, conference rooms, and an assembly hall. She added a problem that existed in the old building have been solved; where a lot of officers had to share one small room, management also needed to rent offices to augment their office needs. “For now there will be a better working relationship” she stated.

She disclosed that there will be a 6 months’ grace period within which certain defect costs will be borne by the Consultant.

A representative from the Local Government Ministry Mr. Dela Kemevor, Director General Administration encouraged management and staff to take good care of the facility and the equipment, according to him most of the hours in the life of a worker are spent in the office environment, so there was the need to have a beautiful environment.

The obviously elated DCE Hon. Al-Latiff Tetteh Amanor accepted the keys, he announced that a proper Commissioning will be done in 6 months’ time when other minor works are fully completed.

“We were going through challenges but in this new building attendance can easily be checked” he added.
