The DCE for Ningo-Prampram, Hon. AL-Latiff Tetteh Amanor met with members of the Ningo Traditional Council to officially familiarize himself with the council after his nomination and approval. He thanked the chiefs and people of Ningo for their support when he was nominated by the President of the Republic of Ghana H.E. Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo leading to his confirmation as the District Chief Executive of the area. Also, the support he had from the Assembly members were overwhelming and pledged to work with all stakeholders within the district.
He told members of the Council that he has come to help in the development of the district, he called on all to put politics aside and focus on developing the district for the wellbeing of future generations. He presented to the council drinks and an undisclosed amount of money.
The Paramount Queen Mother of the Ningo Traditional Council, Naana Dugbakuwuor Dugba II called on the DCE to work assiduously with all stakeholders as he has promised and shouldn’t relent to call on his predecessors when the need arises for “experience is the best teacher.
”On behalf of the Traditional Council, the Acting President of the Ningo Traditional Council Nene Tetteh Asime Banaheme II congratulated the DCE for his appointment. He therefore urged the DCE to see to the development of the district. He pointed out the challenge of the deplorable roads, with no proper lay in the Ningo township. Nene Tetteh Asime Banaheme II went on further to applaud the government for the marvelous work being done on the sea defense project which has saved lives and property as compared to what is currently affecting keta as a result of the tidal waves.
