A send-off ceremony, in honour of Mrs. Gifty Ofori Ansah, the District Director of the Health directorate of the Prampram Polyclinic, was organised at the Oasis International Training center. Mrs. Ofori Ansah worked diligently at the directorate for nearly eleven (11) years. She is a very affable and dedicated person, passionate about achieving results even with inadequate resources. Her leadership style has been praised by all persons who worked with her.
Profiled dignitaries including Hon. Samuel Nartey George, the MP for Ningo-Prampram, the Queen Mother of the Prampram Traditional Council, Manye Naa Osabu Abbey, Dr. Dominic Nuetey, Ada West Health Director, Madam Abigail Agbozo, District Planning Officer, representatives from the District Assembly and healthcare professionals from the District graced the occasion.
Associations and staff within the health sector who appreciated her years of services to the District, presented her with citations, cash donations and several range of gifts and hampers. The District Assembly equally showed their appreciation for her dedication towards the District.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Sam George expressed his displeasure over the transfer of Mrs. Ansah. He praised her dedication and passion towards humanity and the health services. He recalled interventions and dedications she made for the district, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He equally, brought gifts in appreciation of her services to the people of the Ningo-Prampram District. He stated that, “if it were within his power, he would have reversed the transfer” because he loves the passion with which she works. But he has to reluctantly let her go to serve other people across the country. Several other health workers took turns to shower her with kind words for the several years of good working relationship.
Mrs. Ofori Ansah thanked the gathering for the overwhelming love shown her.
