About This Service
A building permit is a legal requirement for all construction, renovation, and structural alteration projects in Ghana. It ensures that buildings comply with approved spatial plans, structural safety standards, environmental requirements, and zoning regulations of the district.
The Physical Planning Department of the Ningo-Prampram District Assembly processes building permit applications. Commencing construction without a permit is illegal and may result in demolition orders and legal action. We encourage all developers — individuals and organisations — to obtain the required approvals before starting any construction work.
