About This Service
Marriage registration is a legal requirement under Ghanaian law and is administered through the District Assembly in partnership with the Births and Deaths Registry. An official marriage certificate provides formal legal recognition of your union and is required for a range of personal, financial, and administrative purposes.
The Ningo-Prampram District Assembly facilitates orderly and accessible marriage registration for all residents of the district. We encourage couples to complete registration promptly to protect their legal rights and entitlements.
