Revenue, Budgeting & Financial Management
The Finance Department is responsible for the sound financial management of the Ningo-Prampram District Assembly. The department ensures transparent, accountable, and efficient management of all financial resources, including internally generated funds (IGF), District Assembly Common Fund (DACF), and other central government grants and development partner contributions.
The department plays a critical role in ensuring that the Assembly operates within its approved budget, maintains accurate financial records, and produces timely financial reports that inform Assembly decision-making and satisfy audit requirements.
Key Functions
Revenue mobilisation and collection of rates, fees, and levies across the district
Preparation and management of the annual district composite budget
Accounting, bookkeeping, and maintenance of financial records
Financial reporting to the Assembly, Ministry, and audit bodies
Procurement planning and contract management in line with PPAAB regulations
Payroll management and staff salary processing
Asset management and fixed assets register maintenance
Coordination with Ghana Audit Service for annual financial audits
