The Human Resource Management Department is responsible for managing the Assembly's most valuable asset — its people. The department ensures that the right personnel are recruited, developed, motivated, and retained to deliver quality public services to the people of Ningo-Prampram.
The department oversees all HR functions in compliance with the Local Government Service Act and civil service regulations, covering everything from staff appointments and promotions to welfare, discipline, and capacity building across all departments of the Assembly.
Key Functions
Recruitment, appointment, and placement of qualified staff across all departments
Processing of staff promotions, transfers, and postings in line with service regulations
Staff welfare management including leave administration, health, and well-being
Coordination of training, capacity building, and professional development programmes
Management of staff performance appraisal systems and disciplinary procedures
Maintenance of up-to-date staff records, payroll data, and personnel files
Ensuring compliance with the Local Government Service Act and HR policies
Processing of retirement, gratuity, and end-of-service benefits for staff
