Physical Planning Department
Land Use, Zoning & Spatial Planning
The Physical Planning Department (PPD) is responsible for the orderly, planned, and sustainable development of land and built environment within the Ningo-Prampram District. The department ensures that all development activities comply with approved layout plans, zoning regulations, and national spatial planning standards.
Given the district's rapid urbanisation and coastal location, the PPD plays an especially critical role in managing development pressures, preventing encroachment on ecologically sensitive areas, and guiding the strategic growth of settlements in alignment with the district's spatial development framework.
