KAKE PEEMI KƐ NƆYAMIThe Ningo-Prampram District was established in 2012 under Legislative Instrument 2132, carved out of the erstwhile Tema Metropolitan Assembly. Located in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, the district lies approximately 15 kilometres east of Tema along the Atlantic coast.
Covering an area of 622.2 km² with a stunning 37-kilometre Atlantic coastline, the district is home to over 204,673 people (2021 census) spread across more than 120 communities. With 78.7% urban population, the district is one of Ghana's fastest-growing areas.
The district economy is driven by fishing, agriculture, tourism, and an emerging industrial sector. The Assembly is committed to building modern infrastructure, improving social services, and creating economic opportunities for all residents.
